Poor Lloyd!

Let's all pretend I wrote this on Sept 24th, k?

Ugh, I'm so tired today - we didn't get home from Nicole's Bachelorette until close to 5am this morning! I think a good time was had by all! We started off at 4pm sharp and I'm happy to say Katie and I were once again early! (I swear it's true RaE!) Of course, Katherine (the Maid of Honour) was being sneaky and we didn't really need to be there until 4:30pm (God, it's annoying waiting for people - haha!)

We started with some belly dancing lessons, it wasn't quite what I expected but I'd try it again. It was a HUGE workout, we were all sweating by the time the hour was up and headed back to the hotel for a shower. Slight problem - the shower in their hotel room was broken!! So while some decided use it anyways (cold water only), Katie and I headed up to the fitness area locker rooms in our stylish bathrobes.

After dinner (pizza), we started in with the games (and the alcohol complete with penis straws)! I can't say that I did as well with the games as I did at Nicole's shower. I don't seem to be very good at sculpting penises out of playdoh or pinning the "stud on the man" - I will have to work on that I suppose!

Next, we headed out to a club called "Montana" - what an awesome club! There was a great mix of music, great crowd, places to sit/lounge and it was so much cleaner than "The Pheonix" which I am definately over now that I've experienced the other side ;) Our feet were killing us by the end of the night but we pushed through.

Katie and I decided to head home around 3am and stop for some D's as there was a 24 hour location on the way. We ordered and pulled ahead and I said to Katie, "Dude, I think you car is smoking?!" but we thought maybe it was just the exhaust fumes coming from the car infront of us (it was a cold out). So, we moved a bit futher ahead and we're still waiting but now we're sure the smoke is coming from Lloyd!! So Katie turns of the ignition and BOOM, the car drops and a huge cloud of smoke bursts out of the hood! I have never ran away from a car so fast in my life!! Katie called her good friends at CAA to come take Lloyd away, at which point they tell her not to call again to November because she's reached her limit of calls! (which she adds is not her fault because she's called for her mom too!)

So now there is a car in front of us and several behind us in the drive thru and we can't move the car! Nobody working the drive thru seems to care they just keep saying, "can you get it out of the way, you need to get it out of the way" sure buddy let me get right on that for you (I think to myself). A couple of guys get out of their car to help and one of them even had a helpful suggestion "GET A NEW CAR!" Of course, I keeping inisiting, "it's not mine it's HERS"

Katie's mom was nice enough to come pick up our sorry asses and wait with us for the tow truck to show up - the driver was very cute! Of course, as we are discussing just how cute he was and the fact that we couldn't see a ring on his finger, Katie's mom points out that the window is open and he can hear us!

So Lloyd was taken away by the cute tow truck driver but hopefully he doesn't have to go to car heaven!!
