Down By Eight
So I'm on "vacation" this week - why the air quotes you ask? Because I had to take my last 6 vacation days of 2006 to get 8 teeth pulled! They were pulled successfully on Friday morning (December 1st) and it's all gone a lot less painfully than I expected!! You hear all the horror stories but no one ever tells you a nice non-complicated quick recovery stories! Tomorrow morning I go in for phase two of the process and get braces put on AGAIN! I honestly don't remember much about braces the first time around (I was only 12) but I don't think it'll be that big of a deal (fingers crossed).

I remember 3 1/2 years of braces - the times when they tighten them and I could only eat yogurt because my teeth hurt so badly...but ya, I'm sure you'll be fine!

meh... if we could all do it as kids then we can do it as adults... you'll be fine!
